The most important and dominant aspects of a young person’s life are friends, their job, their dating life, and good food! In fact, it wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that youth can mostly be summed up with these 4 categories. So here are four youthful Rizzle series with extremely relatable themes.

Girl Enemy

Who needs enemies when you have a best friend who constantly gets under your skin? Relatable? Then you must watch Girl Enemy, which is about a couple of frenemies (friends/enemies), who are constantly quarrelling, passing snide remarks, and generally irritating each other, but cannot say apart. Underneath all the banter, they truly love and respect each other. However, they now have to deal with an overprotective boyfriend who has a problem with them being friends.

Life of an Employee

It is common knowledge that corporate jobs demand more than they give. They’re hectic, and often leave one feeling unfulfilled and overworked. Life of an Employee chronicles the struggles, dilemmas, and feelings of two such corporate co-workers. They are both frustrated with their jobs, but there is a stark difference in how they deal with said frustration. This show is so relatable, it will leave you wondering how they read your mind!

Prema Chupinchadam

Some partners, much like the corporate jobs mentioned above, demand more than they give. Prema Chupinchadam is the story of a couple like this, where the boyfriend enjoys the benefits of a lovely, caring girlfriend, but does the bare minimum to reciprocate. This show makes you ponder over the question of whether you it is ok to give more love in a relationship than you get. And if it’s always necessary to show the love you feel. It’s a fun, and thought-provoking for all hopeless romantics out there.

Foodie

There are people who eat to live, and there are those you live to eat. Foodie is the story of one such girlfriend who constantly baffles her boyfriend with her love for food. She starts her day thinking of what to eat all day, and goes to sleep planning her meals for the next day. Each episode is packed with fun. And if you are a foodie too (let’s be honest, who doesn’t love food?), you are guaranteed to fall in love with the protagonist!
